Remember to stop and smell the roses

James and I had been stepping on each others toes all morning. I put a dish away, he pulled one out. I closed a door, he opened one.....you get the picture. So I decided to take him to the park by our house. I planned to let him play on the grass, but they were sprinkling fertilizer, and mowing. So, we went into the rose garden.

Here, I ended up getting some great pictures. James was thrilled to get some fresh air around such pretty flowers.
The red really compliments him, eh?
Okay, so it's a little hard to get a picture of yourself taken by yourself but that's alright. (Thanks Dad, for my long arms.) I thought this picture captured the moment perfectly. James and Mommy, smelling the roses. Just sending this post out to remind all my family and friends to stop and smell the roses!

James' new attitude!

On a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Benson's house James got his first real pair of shades. Check out the new attitude! He kept them on the entire time he ate.

Oral Hygiene

Before James can go to bed James must makes sure Daddy's teeth are clean too.
Almost done!

James Mops

Only fourteen months old and he already knows how to keep mommy happy!

Beanie Baby

Tony was at school this morning when James found his beanie on the couch and actually put it on. Mommy had to straighten it out a bit for the picture and tada!

Bath Time!

James was in an especially frisky mood this particular night, playing with the toilette paper and actually got it wrapped around his neck. All the kids will be wearing a toilette paper scarf this fall...you just wait and see.

After his bath James knows the routine! We brush our teeth. He gets so excited he wants to brush everyone's teeth.

Daniel's Birthday

Happy Birthday Daniel! Just look at the table manners on your nephew, wiping his mouth so well! Unfortunately, Tony could no be bothered to put his rib down for the picture.
I can't believe Daniel just turned 31 years old....almost over the hill...
Here are Mom and Dad, aka Grandpa and Grandma Benson, snuggling after a hearty liver and onions dinner!
