Dragon Baby Part 2

Well, Dominic has finally settled down. He is now 2 months old, sleeping 10 hours a night, and much more calm. We are in love. This little guy is trying to catch up to his brothers fast! He is only a little over 2 months old and weighs 16 pounds!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Santa has arrived!
James got his wish . . . a Spiderman big boy bike!
Lukey on his Buzz riding toy.
Lukey with his favorite gift from his stocking . . . a motorized Sponge Bob Square Pants toothbrush.
Thanks, Nan, for the Pillow Pets!
Our family's most precious gift, of coarse! Merry Christmas to all!

We had a nice lazy Christmas day . . my favorite. After breakfast and opening gifts the kids played all day with their new toys. We ate dinner early with a nice bottle of wine for Tony and I. Then after it got dark we went out to Candy cane lane to look at Christmas lights!

James' 4th Birthday

Iron man! Happy 4th Birthday James! The first thing James said after walking in the door after the trip to Arnold was, "Where's my Birthday cake?" Thank goodness it was ready for him.

Male Bonding

James and Uncle Adam getting ready to sled.
Here come James and Tony!
My loves.
Watch out! Here comes a snowball!
Uncle Adam surrenders.
James sledding head first down the hill by himself. He has come a long way since last time he went sledding!

Let's do it again!
James' birthday party up in Arnold. Uncle Adam and Alex . . . he still can't tell you guys apart. ;-)
James and Little Pop.

Tony took James on a trip up to Arnold for his birthday. We always have so much fun going to Arnold either going to the lakes in the summer, or to play in the snow during the winter. This time just Tony and James went and they had a blast. Although, I missed you terribly I know you had so much fun! Love ya!

Polar Express

Lukey and Grandpa waiting for the train . . .
Grandma and James . . .
Brothers . . .
Feel like kids again . . .
We decided, after last year, to make the Polar Express train ride a family tradition. This year we brought my parents along to join the fun! We all had a great time on our trip to the North Pole and loved seeing Santa.

Thanksgiving

Yes, folks, that is REAL gravy. No can, jar, or packet involved here. (I felt sorry for all the people I saw at the store buying jars and packets of gravy. yuck.)

Thank you Mom, for teaching me how you cook the best Thanksgiving meal EVER. Next year I will be ready to do it all on my own. Yummy. But, I was so busy in the kitchen I got no pictures except for the food. . . and forgot to get one of the turkey. . .Oops!

Dragon Baby

Dominic was so quiet the night he was born and just wanted to sleep. "This is great!" Tony and I said to each other. "He will be our most mellow baby yet!" Not so, I am afraid. After we got home from the hospital he took a turn for the worse and proved to be our FUSSIEST baby yet. He was a natural birth (born too quickly for an epidural . . . I had been in the delivery room for all of about 15 minutes when he was born) and he had a terrible latch which caused cracked, bleeding nipples, and I couldn't put him down for the first two months because he would scream. We nick-named him our dragon baby. I wasn't quiet sure I liked him. ;-) But, we hung in there and the rewards are great. He makes us laugh. His smile is infectious and lights up the whole room. He sleeps 10 hours a night and is already 15 pounds at 2 months! Not only do I like him, I LOVE him, and I'm pretty sure everyone else here does too.
