Luke's First Birthday

Happy Birthday Lukey Lovins! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us on Saturday! We had so much fun. Here is a slideshow of the party. I wish I had gotten more pictures, but Lucas was so fussy that day he was in my arms hiding from people almost the whole time. =)

Luke's First Haircut

We finally did it. We took Luke in for his first haircut. He was so good he didn't even cry or squirm. As long as he had a toy in his hand he was fine. Although he did cry when the girl finished. Maybe he was sad to go? ;)

Two boys one tub . . .

Oh how I have waited for the day when I could give James and Luke a bath at the same time! YAY (They look pretty excited about it too!) And say good bye to those long blonde locks. Tomorrow Luke gets his first haircut!

This past week . . .

Thursday January 28th my friend took her daughter to an eye exam to follow up with a lazy eye that was diagnosed at her 2 yr checkup. The pediatric ophthalmologist told my friend that her daughter had a tumor, called retinoblastoma. They have been seeking treatment in L.A. Our hearts are aching for them as they embark on what must be life's most difficult journey; seeing your child go through multiple tests, procedures, surgeries, chemo, and 6 months of hospitalization. We pray for them, and the strength they need to see their daughter through this course of treatment.
