On Thursday morning we got the news that Tony passed his NCLEX and is officially a registered nurse now. I saw the text message from his friend David from nursing school and woke him up with the good news. YAY! What a relief. No more studying. We celebrated by going out to a nice breakfast while James was at school . . . and then to the grocery store. ;) Good job, Tony! Love you.
I am also posting some pictures of when Pop was here before Christmas. Somehow they got lost in the shuffle. ;) Vince hadn't seen James since he was about six months old, so it was good that he could come and spend some time with us.

Hiking in Auburn
Tony found some hiking trails in Auburn. It's only about a fifteen minute drive from us so we decided to go this past Wednesday. We packed a lunch and set out on a river trail that was supposed to lead us to a waterfall. We didn't quite make it that far because the path got significantly more narrow and steep as we went along. We had the stroller with us which we temporarily left alongside the trail. The boys had so much fun, especially James. It felt so good after all the rain we had been having to finally get out of the house and see some sun. I have to say though, we are all so white we look like a bunch of vampires that just crawled out of a cave! he he he. Tony and James had so much fun they decided to go back on Friday too. Here's to many more beautiful days in the sunny outdoors with the family!

Yoga and New Years Resolutions
Rainy Days
Tony decided to take James out in the pouring rain since it has been continuous lately with no opportunity for outdoor play. I had to take a picture of the two of them in their rain gear. They remind me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when Mike TV disappeared into the TV and everyone was wearing those tight white suits with hoods . . . ha ha ha. Needless to say once they got suited up the rain finally stopped.
